The Backstory<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When Jen (School of Rock \/ Broomfield<\/a>) approached me about this project I was sold straight away !! ;-D She told me that the vibe should be summer-y, thus sending my brain immediately to board shorts and imagery related to the Endless Summer<\/a> film poster, which was created by a young designer at my beloved Dana Point, using a photo from my favorite beach on the planet … Salt Creek !! ;-D<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I cobbled together a few black vectors that I’d purchased on iStock, messed w\/ colors (probably on colourlovers.com<\/a> ;-D) … and somehow ended up w\/ stuff like this on my screen:

Jen wanted more text on the poster than I’d initially anticipated. I tried to fight her against all that data, but she won !! ;-D Finding room for all that info was tough but I think I cracked it by use of extra layers, contrasting colors, etc !! ;-D<\/p>\n\n\n
