Many moons ago — b\/c my parents were desperate for me to perform better on the SAT<\/em> — I ended up @ an SAT <\/em>prep course. During said course, my instructor learned me<\/em> about the 3 EEEz<\/em> ;-D … <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The 3 EEEz !! ;-D<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The 3 EEEz<\/em> have wafted in and out of my life ever since … always providing perspective<\/em>, philosophy<\/em>, and (even in CH<\/em> where it’s illegal<\/em> =>) … joy<\/em> !! ;-D I’m EEE<\/em>ternally grateful for her insistence about them … this post is an ode to the 3 EEEz<\/em> that my Professora SAT<\/em> taught me …<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Over time, I’ve come across loads of talk about impermanence<\/em>, transitory <\/em>states, everything being (essentially) ephemeral<\/em>. I very poignantly recall pondering over this word during my DHHS Swim Meets<\/em> …<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      I’d be up there on the starting blocks amidst all the madness, hoping to avoid last place (I was always pretty close ;-D) … then in the water thinking “this is an ephemmmmmeral moment” <\/em>… n seconds<\/em> of chaos and then I’ll be permitted to breathe normally again !! ;-D<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Doh !! To this day, I still chant beautiful words (& 80s tunes <\/em>;-D) to myself when I’m in the water !! It helps regulate my breathing<\/em>, my strokes<\/em>, my flowwww<\/em> … oh my here’s a fun thing for those of you who are tangentially <\/em>inclined … tangents are ephemeral<\/em> aren’t they … just that one itty bitty point that touches the circle and off we go … hmmmm … ;-D<\/p>\n\n\n\n
